I lost my job when I was 6 months pregnant with our first child. A big mortgage and only one income coming into the house made us rethink our fancy new baby room!!!! I spent next to nothing when I had my baby. Breastfeeding, a sling not a stroller and co-sleeping. With my second, I spent nothing as I had all the clothes from the first. What about cloth diapers? High chairs can wait. Changing unit, utter waste of money. I have three-- the couch, the bed and the floor, all free! No real advice here, this is all the typical stuff people waste money on– how about pushing true money savers?
