I stayed in Sleepzone in Galway which was a class location right near Eyre Square. However even better they operate a shuttle service to Sleepzone Connemara whihc is right opposite KillaryAdventurecentre; only a few kilometres away from the Connemara National Park(Climbing Diamond Hill is a lovely experience) and also Scuba dive West. For any holiday makers who enjoy their activities its so convenient and great value for money but similary those who just wish to chill it's beautiful country! I agree with Aisling above. Hostels these days are no longer for the 20-something person, they cater for people of all ages from families to retirees! The standard of them has improved significantly in recent years plus you can save money by self catering in the communical kitchens and its a great way to meet likeminded people in the common areas!
